Functions:
The Communication – Education Division is an affiliation of the GOPFP. It is to assist the Director General in terms of public administration to implement PFP communication and education activities.
Tasks and authority
1. Develop legal documents, policy on PFP communication and education; provide guidelines for implementation;
2. Develop and implement long-term, five-year and annual communication-education plans and programs. Provide guidlines for implementation and monitor;
3. Develop plans incollaboration with other mass media, civil societies, professional organizations, domestic and international organizations,working in PFP communication-education;
4. Provide guidelines and organize activities for “World Population Day”, Viet Nam Population Day”. PFP campaign and events;
5. Develop plans, produce, disseminate, and purchase PFP communication-education equipment, Implement these activities;
6. Provide guidelines and implementation of developing communication-education models and projects for PFP public-sector service organizations;
7. Monitor and supervise PFP communication-education contents and products;
8. Provide research proposals and participate in related research and guidelines for implementation;
9. Collaborate with Pesonnel Division and related agencies to develop training plans and materials on PFP communication-education, provide training and technical guidance on PFP communication-education;
10. Manage the Division’s staff and asset;
11. Implement other tasks assigned by the Director General.
